Pairing fails when using the SmartConnect Body Scale

If you receive the following message when trying to use the SmartConnect Body Scale the issue is most often caused by interference in the Bluetooth Low Energy communication.


Pairing failed. Please, press and hold the button on the back of your scale until the scale enters initial pairing mode, and ensure the 'Connect to Scale' button in the app is highlighted blue."

Please see this list of common sources of interference and try to remove them from within range of your scale.  Once you have removed the source of interference you may try to connect the app with the scale again.

Note: Typically, all you need to do to reconnect the app to the scale is press the 'Connect to Scale' button on the WEIGH IN screen of the app so it is highlighted blue.
