Troubleshooting: Pairing the SmartConnect Kitchen Scale

Please follow the directions below before contacting Escali for assistance.

  1. Turn off your scale. 
  2. Open the Escali SmartConnect mobile app, and turn off Bluetooth mode.
    • Navigate to the KITCHEN screen.
    • Deselect the Bluetooth button if it is selected.  It should appear with a black Bluetooth logo.  If the button is white and the logo is blue, then you must press the button to turn off the scale's Bluetooth pairing mode.
  3. Close the Escali SmartConnect mobile app.
  4. Turn your scale back on.
  5. Open the Escali SmartConnect mobile app, and turn on Bluetooth mode.
    • Navigate to the KITCHEN screen.
    • Select the Bluetooth button so it is highlighted white and the logo is blue.
    • Your scale should be paired to the Escali SmartConnect mobile app.
